A JPG that’s ready for the next step
Choose a still WebP image or drop it into the work area. Conversion starts automatically. Compare the previews, then download the JPG.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG doesn’t support transparency. Transparent and partly transparent areas are composited onto white. Check the preview before downloading.
Will the JPG be smaller or keep the same quality?
JPG uses lossy compression and can be larger than the original WebP. Pixel dimensions and proportions are preserved after orientation is applied. Original metadata, color profiles and DPI are not guaranteed to be preserved.
Which images can I convert?
One still WebP at a time, up to 10 MB and 12 megapixels, with neither side over 8192 pixels. Animated WebP, other formats and damaged files are rejected.
Where does my image go?
Conversion and previews stay in this browser. Images are not uploaded or saved in website storage. Anonymous analytics and optional PayPal support are explained in our privacy details.
How do I save the JPG on my phone?
Try Download JPG. If your browser opens a preview instead, use Open JPG and the browser’s save or share menu. The tool cannot confirm whether your device saved the file.
